Xiaomi doesn't have a manufacturer here in indonesia and still sell their phones only 10% higher.

No one sells something officially twice as much as what it costs originally. Never.

the problem of Brazil is not only in taxes, it includes several factors, such as the high margin of retailers, salesmen's commission, and also play the price up there that the Brazilian pays, here we do not have a boycott, the population does not have this custom.

Xiaomi didn't leave Brazil because of country economics, but because Motorola and Samsung dominates our smartphone market (along with Apple) and they weren't able to provide better alternatives and compete back then.

And third-party retailers actually sell Xiaomi phones for reasonable prices. You can find a Pocophone F1 for about R$1,500 (~$375) at those retailers, but Xiaomi will officially sell the Pocophone F1 here in Brazil for about R$3,000 (~$750), so twice as much.

So, if they don't start to manufacture their phones here and change their price policies for Brazil they will fail again.

If it is price super high with inflation like in Brazil people immediately looses interests. The high price doesn't match the software experience like in Moto as you said since Motorola phones are stock Android which is smoother. Though we have to agree Xiaomi camera experience would be better especially on recent phone.

Xiaomi is very famous here in Brazil, but our taxes and duties don't let the company offer their real competitive prices.

This time, Xiaomi returned to Brazil in partnership with DL, a local brand, but they intend to bring to our coutry only two models by now - Redmi Note 6 Pro and Pocophone F1. The real problem is that the retail price for them is realy high, I realy doubt they will succed this way.
For exemple at the price of the Pocophone F1, I just bought a Galaxy S10e on the pre-sale with free Galaxy Buds.

Brazil is now occupied by US with puppet government, so may end up bad for Xiaomi.

I'm from Brasil and I'm very much happy with my Moto G7. It's simply fast and reliable without any bloatware. Xiaomi didn't succeed the first time because they think people here are after cheap phones.

We don't mind paying extra as long as the quality is good.
It's not all about the highend processor even if you have the latest Snapdragon but the software is bloated with apps and the experience is mediocre.
