30 March 2019
Its design is a tad different from that of Find X - the first Oppo smartphone with a slider mechanism.

Anonymous, 30 Mar 2019Another phone with a chin again?Well, you need another years more to have a no-bezel screened phone since today technologies aren't viable enough to do that. Only solution to hide the chin look is to equalize all of the phone's side bezel, making it have a thicker bezel on the other side, iPhone for the example.

Most of these chinese company has already figured out numerous ways to hide their phone front camera but none of them have any concern to bring back the comfort of physical keyboard to minimalize typo and get it together.

Please, at least a woken company do a sliding front cam + sliding physical keyboard phone.

Bewildered , 31 Mar 2019I wonder why Blackberry or HMD appear to have done nothin... moreSlider smartphones can be a viable option for BlackBerry right there, as it helps to increase the STB by hiding the keyboard on the back and also making it much more modern for day to day use, and by that I meant having a manual slider and not a motorized one. Pretty sure I had a NOKIA 6500 Slide and a LG KE970 Shine when I was young, both had that slider phone style with the keyboard on the back when it's closed, and it worked pretty well, no scratches here and there. Of course, that is because the keyboard deck is flat, unlike BlackBerry's, so that may be a problem for them if they were to make slider smartphones

The problem with phone with keyboards is the keyboard adds to the length, the compromise before was to have a smaller display due to the keyboard.

The keyboard portion could be that portion, however not having the keyboard there may set off a new series of complaints

Honestly, it ain't that different from the one u see in the OPPO FIND X, just some design tweaks here and there. Looks good, though durability will be the most questioned topic here

Pretty good idea. Now slider phones can have bigger batteries and a headphone jack since the whole back doesn't slide. Just the top camera portion

Another phone with a chin again?

This one looks like a new version of Find X, similar to Xiaomi Mi Mix and Mix 2. This phone looks more polished but less innovative and exciting comparing to Find X. If Camera setup for Oppo Reno will be future of Oppo phones, this one seems to be a concept phone rather then a real one.
