Who really cares about software updates anymore? Android is in great shape for the last 3 years, the new features may be welcome, but not necessary.
LG V50 (and G8) has the absolutely best audio experience, 3.5mm jack, FM radio and its camera capabilites are more than just good. LG adds larger battery and OLED screen.
Their phones may be not for everyone, but they are a must for the audiophile.

Lg mobile division follows htc. Now they aren't capable to release phones worldwide like Samsung and Huawei. RIP Lg.

Screams consumer fraud to me.
Also, blame also lays on your respective local telcos.
Disgusting.

There must be a more expensive Dual Screen bundle
for Europe ! And what about a 512GB/8GB version ???
Just to throw S10+ out of the race !
LG V50 is already NUMBER ONE !!!

Save your money. Unless you live in Korea and have the Korean variant. Expect ZERO android software updates. LG is notorious for releasing several international regional variants and NEVER EVER updating many of those variants even ONCE. They may update a few popular regional variants to silence the anger but the rest of the variants will NEVER EVER get an update. Just go to the LG forums and you'll see it's not a company you can trust to provide timely software updates and even a single software update at all.
BUYER BEWARE!!!
The V50 ThinQ 5G is a $1,000++ phone you will most likely regret (unless you DON'T CARE AT ALL about software updates)!

$1,060...I know it's cheaper than the Galaxy S10 5G version but...dude...that's still pricey. The free dual screen accessory is a nice touch though.
