Samsung is known for over-saturated images, whereas Apple has tended to aim closer to reality. It's like the movies, big Hollywood hits don't look like real life, they have to be 'extra'.

If the camera on the 8+ is like this, how come would you say that the iPhone 7/7+ camera is still "good enough"?

Sorry ! Apple i don't trust on small camera sensor....so, as an Indian iphone 6s user...next time i will buy an phone which has at least 1/2 inch camera sensor..

They never mind about new users because their own CEO blamed existing users who did not upgrade to new models for bad sales in china. They just want to grab high profit.. now the final price would be very less.. still they don't want to pass it on to end user. So the sales number will be same. But profit will be doubled.

I do not hate Apple iPhone, I just think whether it is so important to manufacture iPhone 7 still? Why not XR with real Dual SimCard indeed? Anyway, I understand well...this is Apple who is always confusing the world with its marketing language.

No matter where they are from, I don't believe Apple will lower the prices of newer iphone in India. India is a large market, but only a part of the world. I think Apple will keep their premium time for quite some time, until more and more customers left.

Instead of reducing the prices of handset, company will use this margin for future expansion. The benefits of Make in India won't be passed on to end users & Apple will absorb their profit from the sale keeping the price same. If the handset is made in India or anywhere in world won't matter to consumers. They are waiting for low or reduced price. If they are keeping the price same as if imported, how their sale & profit will increase? 550$ for base model of 64 GB handset is too costly for common man.

I hope Wistron defies Apple's blueprints of no headphone jack by having Strange Parts' iPhone 7 headphone jack video as not only an instructional video but also part of Wistron's iPhone 7 blueprints.
Adding a headphone jack on the iPhone 7 is doable. Flexible boards look cheap so it's really doable.

Come on Apple next year you will discontinue it. And what's the point if price is can not be reduced.. looting money out of those idiots who think of buying iPhone 7 now as price is less. Manufacture it locally and sell it for imported price.. earn huge profit. Over....
