This also includes the import taxes and GST of 7%. So therefore it is better off to buy flagship no-contract smartphones in general in neighboring countries like Malaysia. Even if you buy online, check that it is from Malaysia before ordering to get the better software support overall compared to Singapore. The software support there is much better because it is a bigger market.

Malaysia is one of the lowest priced in the world when it comes to electronics
Same case for the S10. The S10+ 128GB was launched at RM3699 without contracts, that's just about $906

Singapore prices (from the RRP price listings at a Huawei shop):
P30: just under S$1k
P30 Pro: just under S$1.4k (for the 256Gb model)
$1 SGD is now 3.02 ringgits.
If you're from SG, it might be cheaper to buy the phones in Malaysia. You'll save S$100-150 outright. This assumes you're not getting free gifts in SG by pre-ordering.
Warranty could be an issue, unless Huawei offers international warranty.

Everywhere in the world except in Europe and USA p30 pro are cheap, although if you compare last year P20 Pro launching price (899 euro) with this year P30 pro launching price (999 euro) there is a big increase in the prices :/
