big is fine but not as big as tablet or you make it foldable. Note series in my opinion should be big compare to S series.

H 160 x W 76 mm which would house a 6.4" flat display.
Idk what the AR would be, probably 18:9.

I have owned every Note since the 4. Please, if you're gonna increase the screen size, just get rid of the bezels. The physical body of the Note 9 is as big as I can take. And for the love of God, get rid of the curved edges already. They were interesting back when the S6/S7 Edge came out. But they're gimmicky and a hassle. Especially on the Note line. Stop the madness already. The Samsung Pie skin is amazing. Can we just move on from this Infinity Screen lunacy finally?

Hopefully with the Note10e accommodating the S-Pen, it'll discourage them from making the screen too narrow.
IMO they should not exceed the Note9's 18.5: 9 AR. The Note9's body= 161.9 x 76.4 x 8.8 mm (6.37 x 3.01 x 0.35 in).
So making it 1cm shorter (to help fit in more pockets) should=
H 151.9 x W 71.7 mm
This might be a bit narrow for some so a flat screen would help with that.
A width of 74 mm seems right.
No visible punch holes on the Note10/e, bezels of the Note9 are fine, trim them back a little if you must, but don't affect the performance of the stereo speakers.
Bottom speaker could be more front firing.

Anonymous, 03 Apr 2019Umm, on the contrary. This ridiculous aspect ratios mean it... moreWell, it's made with Facebook in mind. Now if they just could record in 21:9 not 4:3. What's the point of wide screen then. Nobody offers anti vertical recording though, look forward to "interesting" YouTube videos.

I am honestly completely tired of the curved design, especially for a Note. It has no benefit, on the contrary. Writing on a curved screen is silly. If Samsung continues with this trend, I will not buy the Note phones anymore. A pen phone should always be bigger and not suddenly become smaller. Samsung has for years ignored their fans that wished for a flagship phone with a flat screen. No wonder, the S10e is so well received. And still it is not a complete flagship.

I've played and owned several phones. People should also consider in-hand feel. Not just focus on the dimensions. My Essential is a good size but it weighs 185g. It just feels awkward to hold.
The LG G5 even with the cheaper feeling still has the best in-hand feel for me. Another one that felt great was the original smaller Pixel. If it had the same front as the Galaxy S10e, it would've been perfect.

Anonymous, 03 Apr 2019But the S line is not the Note. Thats why.my point is that the main differentiation between the S lineup (specially the edge + the newer ones as from S8) is the pen plus minor design elements e.g. note tend to be a bit flatter and squareish than edge or newer S series. So if you never used the pen but insist of buying a note phone which is more expensive, you are basically wasting your money as you end up with something which is basically like an S series phone in terms of usability. But heyho, up to you to decide how to use your money.

I would definately like a smaller Note series. The Note8 is amazing but just large. But my Note FE has a very perfect size and screen for me, plus the weight is better. If they can implement a beautiful Note screen inside the footprint of the Note FE, I will buy it and it will replace my Note8 when the price drops. So far I'm still happy with the Note8. No need to replace it.
