Sony Xperia FOREVER, 04 Apr 2019...only the fools who'd buy this ifone mid-range for such price!Strange statement! If I have money and I like apple products then why to judge someone? Some people like apple ecosystem and they service which is probably one of the best in the market.

IOS the only thing which belongs trully to apple and is not made by someone else.
They have whole year to make it excellent without any laggs, bugs and other crap but when comes to release tons of issues arises like always.
And if its not enough they slow your phone to preserve battery like WTF.

Massive discount meh.
Maybe for 300 bucks worth to buy for 800+ P20 pro or Mate 20 pro a lot better option to buy. Even S9 Note can be bught for same price as this phone discounted.
Xiaomi Mi9 explorer cost even less than this phone after discount and is a lot better thing to buy.

It's worth about 450 euro at most. For that price you get a good phone with little above average features and with garantueed software updates for the coming years.

I have been using iPhoned until 7 plus (from 2007-08) first iPhone but the prices started going beyond my affordability here.

iPhone XS Max 512GB costs over $2000 in India. That price cut is not at all sufficient. Prices of iPhone 7 duo, iPhone 8 duo & X, all iPhone of last year should be reduced by 10K, 15K & 25-30K respectively if at all Apple really wants to sale their products in India.

I am not Indian, so I am happy not happy with this news. But, please and please do not compare iPhone with any Android phones as iOs vs Android has different league. Some love iOs, some love Android.

After getting massive discount base model of iPhone XR is still costlier than US Pricing, earlier it was selling for more than price of Xs Max though so should I suppose to be happy?

iPhones become irrelevant even at these price points. In few months you are going to see newer ones! Even Mate 20 Pro and Note 9 512 GB etc cheaper than XR! Apple is forgotten brand by the most! Dual SIM options are not really great where iMessages and WhatsApp restricted to one number... screen is 820p LCD....very difficult to justify. Their prices peaked three years back with iPhone 6 Plus onwards unnecessarily, Android mid-rangers having free ride thanking Apple

This is solely related to Apple's arrogant pricing strategy and their inability to manufacture their products in India.. India has a diverse market, where there are buyers for any price range..But 2018 iPhones prices are unwarranted....One can get a very good 250cc/350cc bike for a single XS Max...Had they released XR, XS and XS Max at 2017 iPhone prices, story would have been different...
