I think he's already used to todays standards in screen sizes and aspect ratios, but just needs a phone that's more pocketable than most other phones. There are other options for him like the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE (from this year) and Meizu 15 (from last year), which also have OLED displays

    Phone already launched two weeks ago in Russia,
    so no, not always India is fisrt market.

    Its an expensive thingy, as usual in A series ...
    the Exy 7884 inside is an even more lower clocked version of the 7885 SoC,
    than that famous < tailored > Exy 7904.
    Battery of 4000mAh is not as big for a 6,4 inch screen ...
    Zenfone Max Pro M1 has 5000mAh in a 6 in. body
    and Full HD+ display as well.

    There are much better priced options,
    check phones with Snapdragon 632 or 636
    for better performance and features, more RAM and storage options
    and so on ...

I want also to see some 5 inch smartphone,perfect for pocket and hand. IPS also can be great display,but amoled is amoled. Also gorilla glass 3 is better for scratches than 4 and 5 and represent great protection.

                      I would really love for a phone that is 5.4 - 5.8 inch without bezels but good AMOLED screen, cpu and battery.

                            Another one with wallpaper designed to hide the notch

                              This is great price for Europe,not for India. But will be probably about 220€,and that is to expensive for this device.
