They have a punch hole in their profits. I told them half year ago that people want New Infinity dispay phones not notched punched broken screens. A lot of people like me steyed on old phones waiting for better displays and 5g capable phones.

Defalt, 05 Apr 2019Huawei rises and Samsung falls, a beautiful thing to see XDYou must understand, as the ARTICLE clearly stated, that most of Samsung's revenue comes from chips (including flash, processors, RAM, NAND, you get it) and displays. 75% actually. This isn't Huawei's fault.

Without development of flagships the company wouldn't be the innovators they are considered today, esp. with competition with other companies that push for creativity to sell.
As long as samsung creates a phone that is more expensive than their other models and is being used to carry the majority of their sales = flagship (whether they never created the expensive S line or not; they will always have flagships)
Plus competition to be better than the other companies will also push the prices of the devices to increase every year ... which would still one day reach expensive status. Oneplus is a great example of that.

This is the kind of news that excites me. Like, will they remain as the number one smartphone brand or fall like their competitors of old? Or just trade shots with Huawei over and over to no end!? I never knew I could be so interested in business and marketing as a Biology student, whew

I am a samsung fan,I feel that huawei and samsung are switching roles,now samsung is imporving midrangers,but not much improvements on flagships.But I don't care,after all flagship is for rich and dumb people.
