My battery is almost gone after upgrade my bb 9900. Can any one help me how can i increase my battery life.

Guys I have 9810 model. When I upgraded my os it still says ver.7.0 Bundle 2406
Anyone knows why.

It would be nIce of they could have also fixed the battery problem with 9900
