anonymous, 10 Apr 2019we all missing nokia's metal body like nokia 7 plus instead... morethat's what most people wants that's why. we just need to accept that the smartphone market is like that but we developers of apps and games don't on the image of the phone it's what the phone can give to use to run our test for multiple times. For the users only like phone calls, selfies, point and shoot, messaging, posting, etc. they need a view point of the phone the looks of the phone. makes sense.

I was going off the GSMArena list, I thought they had it correct. Looks like it wasn't. Anyways I've contacted them to update the product page here.

Nokia is like Apple. Makes few new features and still with insane price.

Not much of a difference on 1 year old 7.1 Plus

I still hope this would launch globally as Nokia 7.2 or Nokia 6.2 plus.

KINGS, 08 Apr 2019WHAT about fm radio.does it have it?Nope. This lacks:

                  - AndroidOne
                  - OIS on any cameras
                  - FM Radio
                  - NFC
                  - Wireless Charging
                  - USB 3.1 (it uses a decades old 2.0 port)
                  - a large battery
                  - QSD 712 processor (any less is not acceptable)
                  - IP68 water resistance
                  - MIL-STD-810G shock resistance

...all of those compromises in the heavily competitive Chinese Market, and they still have the courage to ask for an eye-watering US $400.

Last years Xiaomi Pocophone F1 offers a more efficient and faster processor, with much better front and rear cameras, slightly better speaker, and a larger battery. And that was at the release time of August 2018 for around US $350. Since then, its become more available, cheaper with discounts, and a huge community following with many tweaks and mods. So that remains a better buy still.

Ray, 08 Apr 2019This price is only for China. If you believe that the price... moreOr more... if they add NFC because actually in Amazon is cost cost 417 euros or $468 so the Global could en around 450-500 euros or $505-$562 with taxes.

This price is only for China. If you believe that the price is high (and it is for China), wait to the global version and add other $120...

The price is too high and the SOC is too outdated.

Also, the software is really not optimized to provide an efficient Android experience.

This phone is really not good, they're surfing on the aspect of the phone to claim be a mid-ranger but it's just an overpriced low cost device.

Currently, IMO, the price is too high for these specs. At specs point, It doesn't offer additional value compared to competitors. Global version might have Android One as a plus, but that's not really matter with most people. I can get why 8.1 (a.k.a X7) priced higher than competitors. It has OIS. This one (X71) does not.

But still, I have to wait a little longer to judge. Previously, Nokia seems can keep up the expectation of tough phones. Let see this after JerryRigEverything do some test.

This price is too high even for Western Markets. And this is just the Chinese variant. Should've gone with 675/710.

Everything is awesome for the phone but the price seems high for the chipset

how they can compete with that prices? too high for sd 660 phone.
