08 April 2019
The top part of the slider will house a dual selfie camera with a powerful flash, the bottom can be a loudspeaker or extra camera controls.

Nice to see the good old 16:9 ratio display has a chance to resurrect to the market again.

so we are going back to Nokia N95 era?

I'd kill to see a phone with uniform bezels to give the illusion of a bezelless display without the rounded corners everyone's doing nowadays. Sort of like a clean monolithic slab of glass/ceramic like the XZ Premium. A technique I was thinking of was if the chin were smaller than the top bezel with a front facing camera or vice-versa, the size of the chin would have to be increased to match the exact same size as the top bezel or vice-versa and the side bezels would have to be the size of both the top bezel and chin after they're sized equally to make it look like the phone is bezelless when it really isn't

Since it's a slider phone, this could be expected to be thin enough to no longer fit a headphone jack. If it is true, please voice your feedback to Asus that it's okay that the body has to be thick enough to accommodate a jack. There has yet to be a slider phone with a headphone jack.

Seems like the stupidest idea in a long while.

Unlike most "big names" Asus is still experimenting and trying to innovate.
Their phones may not be the best there is, but it's still good to see them pushing forward.

                                        Looks awesome...
