But there is also hardware defect with the Gorilla glass.
I have my NoKia 9 in April, but the front glass shattered last month, without dropping or crashing it. They are charging a fee of usd180, to replace the whole display module.
The HMD denies the defect and also refuses to arrange lab test with it.
I doubt if there s problem with their gorilla 5 glass, and their warranty is void once they regard the crack a human damage.
Same problem with my NoKia 6 as well.
Be careful, the display glass is very fragile.
I have good exp with my N8, N808pureview, but the Nokia 6 and Nokia 9 is no more the same Nokia we used to know.

Professional photographers don't use this crap cameras and unfinished phone. Lying will not fool people. In few months the sales will speak louder and that will be the reality.

and are you a PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER if not this phone is useless to you. the phone will just cry because you dont know how to use it properly.

My nokia 9 pureview is pure details ,even the P 30 pro camera can not compete with this camera of nokia 9,photo image is superb beyond other.if image quality is concern,go to this cameraphone.i love my phone,its like you had a DSLR in your pocket,anytime anywhere you can capture pure details photo.

All the problems this drvice has are software related, the price is not premium tgis days and the software will receive updates. Go buy yourself something else and stop dramatizing on fairytales.

Best still image captured by this phone... As far as image quality, Nokia 9 is topnotch...above all existing phones...and this phone is for INTELLIGENT PHOTOGRAPHERS! if you are not knowledgeable enough to process raw image... Of course comment is not good,... Thats how most people are, its the damn truth...

Too many excuses, words about future models, etc... All void ones. Like the previous post before the release that tried to sold this failed phone, an unfinished product plus too many lacks and colateral problems due to its design. HMD-Nokia seems more a marketing-tool to fool old fans and four new customers that anything else. Old hardware at premium price as usual, but this time even without reliability.

Ty for the review, been interested in this phone, but neh - pixel 3 still delivers (though it lags like hell for me). Waiting for Pixel 4 or OP7, mix4.

JCK, 11 Apr 2019The phone is not al that bad, i really don't have issues wi... moresoon they will have one. remember nokia smartphone segment did start again so the budget on creating the best of the best cannot be done right now they need more income for this segment in order to get more and more powerful device. but overall nokia has the best comeback from a short period of time they've rank up rapidly.

The phone is not al that bad, i really don't have issues with the camera crashing.
While some people do have it, depends on the model i think?
Fingerprint scanner has indeed issues, but there is a trick.
You need to register your finger a bit lower when the finger image is displayed.
Then it's work fine, this because the finger scanner is to small in my opinion.
Bezels should have been smaller.
Also it should have the best pictures out of he box, but you can play with the lightroom app.
But i am happy with the Nokia 9, Android One is fast no bloatware and adds!
Hope HMD/Nokia will bring a killer device when they will come up with a Nokia 9.1!
