Apple could just put macOS to ipad pro and make it beast, but obviously that would kill its macline, so year ipad pro users has been scammed :)

Samath N8 808 owner, 13 Apr 2019See, I think the direction they're choosing is good. Machin... moredon't believe what USA announces. such big company value 100B USD will not do it.

See, I think the direction they're choosing is good. Machines should be unified..

BUT, if they're taking us the Android way, by spying on us and giving us limited apps on app store, then hell no. Thank you!!
This is not the internet we want.

They're making us believe that we need their surveilance. We don't.

Serious issue, 12 Apr 2019One problem. Arm architecture. No x86 apps. Which begs ... moreEver used a Chromebook? Doesn't have x64 apps either. They're basically nothing more than a portal to the internet. After owning one for six months, I love it. Turns out I use legacy programs far less than I need to.

With this hardware at this price, this is a steel. It gets me excited about an upcoming Chromebook that is supposed to come with a Snapdragon.

No x86 apps. Which begs the question.. why this when i can get a Surface pro? or Surface go? Can you even install drivers written in x86 installers? Can i still connect my serial to usb modem / printer and expect it to work? Can i install steam? Even if i can install steam, what about all those x86 intel Mac / PC games?

Or why not just load Android and gain all the apps, MS Office / Full android library of games?

iPads at least have 9 years to build up on an ecosystem of apps. Even pros don't buy them due to connectivity issues, plenty of normal consumers will buy it, wanting to browse the web / watch vidoes / play casual games. These people know nuts about booting into windows, installing drivers, uninstall programs, registry edit etc etc. iPad is the computer for them.

But i agree iPad Pro is the odd one out, so stubborn to exclude mouse, even with usb-c nowadays, and external display support. Its only logical to include trackpad / mouse support if you have external display support. So its only "Pro" to a very very limited user base.

Microsoft / Google / Apple / Intel / Qualcomm. These 5 companies petty differences and jealousy to each other really make it very hard lol..

You are not going to be using a machine like this for running "professional grade" software. If you are, then you are doing it wrong.

This machine is essentially a replacement for a higher end Android tablet or an Ipad, which means web browsing, media consumption, office apps and light gaming will be the mail use cases. It doesn't need to run photshop pro or CAD software, its not meant to.

It is a superior alternative to an ipad, given the fact that on an ipad you have several basic functionalities missing.

              - Pointer/Mouse support
              - Ability to connect external drives/expand memory -Horrible that such a basic and essential feature missing.
              - Ability to properly and easily manage files and documents.
              - Ability to connect ANY USB OTG based peripherals like Gamepads, Keyboards and others.
              - Ability to install external apps(non store)
              - Ability to interface seamlessly with non ios phones.
              - ANd many more.

This is TEN times better than a gimped ipad. Ipad pro consumers are the biggest fools of all time.

As I see it is expensive and worthless.
