Samsung Galaxy A2 Core price leaks, it will be cheaper than the J2 Core

              [deleted post]Compact phones in low-range were never an issue. If you were looking for a phone just for calling and texting, there were always options to go for, and since you weren't looking for performance you didn't mind going for 2 year old devices.

              The top-range isn't a major issue either, whether it's Samsung flagships like S9, S10, S10e (!), Huawei P20/P30, Pixel 3 or even iPhone XS, if you want top power and don't care about price, plenty of options there within the 150mm limit.

              The main issue is mid-range. When you look at midrange "compact" phones (I say "compact" but really I mean anything under 15cm height, which barely count for "compact" in most people's books) released in past year, you've got Mi 8/9 SE, a few Nokia's, LG Q7 and thank heavens for the new Samsung A20e. Now I want a phone with SD card slot so Mi 8/9 SE is out, I want a semi-decent camera so Lg Q7 with it's f2.2 is out also.

              So I'm left with deciding between already-getting-dated Nokias and Samsung A20e. Both of those are extremelly overpriced in my country, for example A20e here costs MORE than Note 7 which has drastically higher power and has infinitely better camera. So really if I want to buy a compact phone, I'm forced to pay more to get worse features than full-sized phones. That's the main issue here.

              The real reason Samsung priced the new A20e so highly because they know people starve for one-hand sized phones. People are fed up with the 'phablet' trend and it's only a matter of time till we get more compact phones.

                68 euros in india translates to 120-150 euros in europe.

This phone is very reasonably priced for what you get, and for many people it is perfectly sufficient -- not everyone needs a phone to play games all day long.

                          First of all, that ugly Samsung logo in front is unnecessary. Second of all, that damn thick bezel. 5inch display but it almost same size as 6inch modern phone body if it were bezel less. Not far from S10e dimension. So, it is not compact at all.

                                Samsung out of its mind here

                                  I've heard Android Go is limiting, some normal apps won't work etc...
