Faster charging isn't innovation. More storage (disk space lol) isn't innovation. You need to understand that to innovative, you must bring a new solution, a new technology, not improvements over existing technologies that is rebranded afterwards.

CyanogenOS isn't even OnePlus' work. Where's the innovation in that.

Among all cleana drod cyanogen is best.
Among all other devices they bring technology of DASH charge and WARP Charge.
They had the very first phone with completely unbelievable specs.
Without existence of oneplus one you probably still would have 2-3 GB ram in a phone and up to 32GB of disk space.

Yeah no. There's nothing innovative in a OnePlus. People bought it because it crammed a lot of specs for cheap. Nothing else. And now that they got fans and a name, they kept increasing prices while removing stuff and making their devices less durable.

Give us phones with 5in screen phone, at least 3000mAh battery and with headphone jack. That’s all. Are you listening Jack? #NewOnePlusifHappensThanks.

They are young but innovative company with future and plenty of first ever made. Many patents came from them and they have the future compared to some other brands which are here for millenia but striggling with own existence such as LG, Sony, HTC.

vibhor119, 13 Apr 2019They don't have the guts to copy the technology yet... Tha... moreMan i dont think so.
I dont believe than Gakaxy Fold and Mate X will make a hole into the earth.
Foldable dual screen phones are here since 2011 Kryocera made their Echo. It was nice concept but failed to impress.
                    This going to be same.
Not many people will buy it and thus there is no reason to feed up this technology with more money. Just like google tango or anything simmilar.
LG, Sony and HTC struggling with sales they will not make any foldable phone ever and i dont think they will care.
Making this tech is not easy task and for its price of 2000+ bucks not good for making revenue.
Its only for people who can afford it and and needs something new and big.
Because having the foldable phone which i will use just as a regular phone makes no sense of buying it compared to half as expensive ordinary cell phone.

Will OnePlus TVs spy for users, stole all private data and send unencrypted to 1+ servers? If not - it's nit OnePlus, it's fake.

As if Oneplus have ever done anything by themselves. They will follow whatever Oppo does, then rebrand it and call it never settling.

They don't have the guts to copy the technology yet...
                          That's why no foldable phones...
                          .
                          No innovation companies...
                          .
I am pretty much sure as soon as samsung and huawei make those foldable phones official into the market...
                          They will make one
                          And then they will say
They had a secret plan in the past...
                          .
                          Copycat

                            No rush.

Foldables will show creases and the display is more scratch prone since they can't use glass. It's like a piece of paper folding.

Still in its infancy. Wait about three more years of refinement unless it becomes a novelty and gimmicky.

                              just fix the bugs pls

Just releasing the Pie update for the OP3/3T will be a good start , given that they announced they were first working on it around 9 months ago!

Not sure why OnePlus need to move into TV's and cars why not leave that to their parent company OPPO, where they get all their technology from anyway?

                                    "no foldable phones anytime soon"

OMG! But now I will be forced to buy a foldable phone from a rival manufacturer.

In short : So What One Plus! if I want a foldable phone then someone else will make it but you ain't gonna see my cash.

                                    BUT

Do I want a foldable phone anyway "anytime soon" in the words of the OnePlus CEO?

                                    That is the question!

At this point I'm thinking they're going to go the way of Samsung and introduce an ultra high-end phone (OnePlus 5G), mainline OnePlus phone (OnePlus 7) and a more inexpensive option. Hopefully they bring back the headphone jack with the more inexpensive option if it even exists
