    Also the app must be supported. Each new version of GPUThrottle brings new games to the mix but it's still like the selection of healthy food at McDonald's, very sparse

    Still, it's nowhere near the figures advertised by Honor/Huawei.

    It's a more advanced, AI-infused NVIDIA BatteryBoost, which throttles the laptop to run at nothing more than the specified FPS Target (30 to 60FPS). But applied to reach a better overall stability rather than solely extend battery life

            AnonD-558092, 13 Apr 2019It makes the GPU run slower at a lower image quality, so th... moreNo GPU does not run slower its runs nor it decrease quality (as far as I know), its something like this the game provides GPU with information about static scenes which have little.to no animation or the animation is continous so GPU loads it beforehand or something so whenever you return to that screen GPU recalls the the.loaded scene instead of normally rendering it again which reduces load and GPU can use saved resources in rendering dynamic scene happening along side static scenes which makes overall performance smoother not greater or anything.               Here you have a car. To avoid having the car slow down when going up a hill, the car runs at about 75% its true power. So when you go up said hill, the car runs at 100% power. The speed will be constant, however the car will always be at 75KM/h when it can run at 100KM/hour without the throttle

                    Just merge Huawei and Honor already. They are basically the same. And when they are merged, there are less phones to worry about and put out software updates to.
