IOS is the best mobile operating system, I have used many android phones (hTc, Samsung, Huawei, etc) but IOS apps are more stable and fast. Love it!

Walter C. Dornez, 16 Apr 2019Right? This thing is so God damn restrictive, I'm so close ... moreWhat is it that’s so restrictive about ios? I am a poweruser and I understand the product I bought. I don’t want it to be like anything else, for it would defeat its core purpose: security and privacy.
External mass storage would enable piracy and would expose to os to malware and exploits.
Sideloading apps outside the app store would compromise the device security, exposing user data and details.
Changing the default browser to something like chrome or firefox would enable exploits which can’t be handled, prevented, and fixed by apple. Safari is the safest browser in both ios and mac os.
Allowing 3rd party launchers, icon packs, and customization apps, would mean that the UI and UX will not be as good and consistent as apple designed it, thus it would increase user frustration for not being able to get things right in the experience - just like the case of android, where customizations are there, but they are never perfect.
You don’t get an apple device in order to try and make it work and be used like something else. Just like trying to make linux, windows, android, etc. look like apple’s is not going to work.

I wish they'd allow setting of default browser. Opening everything by default in Safari even though I'm otherwise using Firefox is just retarded. Also, allow browser makers more freedom. Firefox on Android is almost the same as on Windows where Firefox on iOS is like a joke. It lacks half of most basic things. Ridiculous.
