OnePlus 7 Pro could have a QHD+ 90Hz display, stereo speakers

90Hz? Well that's nice, and I'd like to see other brand manufacturers do so for their high-end flagships in the near future too to be honest. Because u see, we've been using smartphones with 60Hz display panels for several years already, and even if the brand manufacturer decides to pack a better display panel and chipset inside the smartphone, it ain't gonna change the fact that it is still running on 60Hz. Heck, even gaming laptops nowadays have moved on from 60Hz to 144Hz, so why can't high-end flagships be like that too? Not that 60Hz is bad but, it deserves an upgrade u know. As for the stereo speakers, hopefully it turns out decent, as the mono speakers from the OnePlus 7 Pro's (assuming that it'll come with this name) predecessors have been pretty mediocre at best

We have FLAC audio and 4K content (videos and/or movies) that are already saved on a card. What's better? Waiting for hours without using the phone for the data to directly get transferred onto the phone or simply popping a MicroSD card on there for not more than a minute later, everything is there? I have one on my V20 and I experience no essence of slowness on my phone.
Also, it doesn't hurt OnePlus to be the first phone outside of Huawei to offer Nano Memory card expansion. They already have dual SIM so what about for people who don't care to use a second SIM card? They should be versatile enough to give us that choice because, at the projected price range, the Galaxy S10+ hardware-wise is the better deal.

ZolaIII, 17 Apr 2019Son it's all generic Chinese this day's with stamps and re ... morethere are mobile phones that have really good speakers- like the razer phones (1 and 2). yes, they did stamp it dolby atmos certified, but it is beyond the stamp because they really sound good. by good i mean the quality of the sound, not loudness; of course puny speakers can never match big ones. for starters, those on the razer phones are individually amplified and you actually can hear the low ends clearly. if you watch movies or play games with properly encoded surround audio track (like the alto series), the fricking phone can simulate 5.1 surround sound! label me a fan of the razer phones and i won't mind. eventhough my razer phone 1 developed the screen issue the unit is infamous for, i still bought a razer phone 2 because there really is no other device that can match its stereo speakers nor the quad-HD 120hz screen.

That all sounds good...but considering the Asus ROG battery with the 90hz panel but with 1080p didn't have the greatest battery in the world, OnePlus HAS to put an even bigger battery for the Pro version (at minimum, 4,500 mAH). Also if they're targeting gamers for this phone, they better reach out to Huawei for those Nano Memory Card readers because a gaming phone without expandable memory is...dare I say...pretty stupid.

Their CEO already said that no wireless charging. With pop-up camera no IP is expected, not with their patented system. Also for a good phone you need more than stereo speakers, additional USB or audio ports, expandable memory and good game controllers and gamepads like the ASUS ROG. Things that this phone almost sure will not have.

Nothing really survived from old 80's speakers brands except Yamaha (new Onkyo simply isn't what it whose). This is good IMO. If they price it reasonably, it could make a killer gaming phone (or a killer multimedia phone for that matter).
The thing about OnePlus phones is that they're very satisfying, so it would be nice to see some proper flagship phones from the company. Hopefully OnePlus will finally invest in wireless charging & IP certification down the road as well.

Shanti Dope, 17 Apr 2019Except the priceNot quite true though. Just like the OnePlus phones, the Nexus series also increased price every year. It's last phone (the Nexus 6P) priced between $500 to $650 (from 32GB upto 128GB). So OnePlus is literally the spiritual successor to the Nexus lineup.
