I think I'll keep my Mate 20 X thanks. I'm happy with 22.5W Supercharge speeds with it's 5000mAh battery. Plus 5G is a few years away from being rolled out properly here in the UK.

What's the point of having a 5G smartphone right now when 5G's still not available worldwide? I mean, sure, you're getting a more faster, more efficient modem that brings lower latency to the table, but that simply isn't enough for me to compromise on something that's far more important for day-to-day use; the battery capacity. Having that instead of 5G is more important for me to be honest

i dont know why Huawei are doing this, i think is better to develop a Mate 30 and put the 5G modem in it...

Mate 20X is almost obsolete, almost 1 year old so, people will buy the new Mate 30X not the Mate 20X.

i toesnt matter, people dont will buy it only for the 5G, and pay more 150/200 so, D.O.A

The problem is the no-name memory card, not a
smaller batery. If they change with normal microSD
card, it will be the perfect phone to buy.

Well mate 20 X hasnt been released for europe so making new version for just asian people thanks no.

I would never change my L29 version for the 5g version. 5000mah can give me around 1½ days of juice with heavy use.
I never use the super charge on my phone, normal and fast charge is what i use and this is enough for me.
And we dont even have 5g here in Denmark, before 2020 or 2021, so no hurry here because of this.
