Tencent is looking to build a gaming phone, Asus, Razer and Black Shark may be involved

18 April 2019
Tencent owns wholly or partially the makers of Fortnite, League of Legends and Clash of Clans, so a gaming phone makes a lot of sense.

Gsmarena writes an article on Tencent and does not mention PUBG Nice anyways imo they should make more demanding games which require some special hardware so those so called Gaming Phones be worth buying

You forgot to mention they developed PUBG mobile that took the world by storm.

Well they certainly don't have much interest in helping the competition like Google.

If it comes with something else than Android will buy. :)

If you haven't heard of Tencent, then you're doing really good in life.

When we refer to Weibo, it's Sina's Weibo. Yes, Tencent has own microblog business but it's almost dead.

It'll probably be co-branded, but very doubtful it will involve ASUS, Razer, Nokia, OnePlus/Oppo or Huawei/Honor.

Xiaomi is a possibility, as well as Meizu, but Lenovo, Vivo and ZTE/Nubia seems more of a probability at this point.
