sped up to make it appear faster- that's what other people here are pointing out. the stopwatch is irrelevant because we were not timing it with the stopwatch; we were basing it on how it opens the app on the video itself. 99 seconds is not really difficult to watch, why couldn't they have it on regular speed to really show how fast the phone opens the apps in the first place? obviously it has been sped up to make it appear as if the apps are opening faster. if their intent is to demonstrate its speed by referencing to the stopwatch, then they should have provided a point of comparison. don't give us that cr@p about looking at the stopwatch, because there is clearly an intent to mislead.

Also it doesnt show video is sped up. So it makes user believe it is fast like this. At the end of the video it is a real time in stopwatch but it doesnt make sence as we dont have to compare this to anything. Stopwatch is just to stoo bashing company about "unfairness". They are cheating. And they will not admit it cuz there is a stop watch at the end which is useless.

The result may not be a cheat, but it's show/display is certainly deceptive.
Besides, the result may not be impressive itself if they "cherry picked" the Apps that run decent on the device. I see the same issues with Speedtest runs from USA, where those Apps don't apply to me living internationally.
Guess we need to wait for an Anandtech review, or maybe a "Speedtest G" from Gary Explains.

I can understand why people find this cheating in marketing.
99 second might not even be impressive if you can't compare it with other phones with the same apps. It just meaningless if you ask me, just a way to fool people to think that the phone is fast.
It's stupid to call people stupid if you can't even understand them :D

Its common sense the video was sped up just to make it easier to watch, the timer still shows 99 seconds, no matter what speed you watch it at.

Listen folks, even though a 99 second video is sped up (likely just so you don't have to watch the whole thing so slowly) doesn't mean its less than 99 seconds. You can speed up a 99 second video to 5 seconds, doesn't mean it still isn't 99 seconds in its original speed. How many of you have finished primary school on here?

Doesn't matter if the video is speeded up, look at the final timer.

Look closely to his right hand it moves faster than usual so video is slightly forwarded lol what a scam hahaha
