Fold is abcrappy product. It breaks a lot, has a terrible outside screen and large notch inside.
Huawei Mate X is 10 times better.

They seriously need to make that cover display bigger. I personally like this fold-in design better than what other manufacturers came up with, but maximizing usage of that cover could've had it avoid this Fold debacle, or at least make the main display last longer

Please do a stress test by opening and closing the phone several times and then discovering screen breaks from rhe middle as happened previously on many units.

Does not deserve more than 3,8 with these screen issues.

This Fold already have durability issue in just 2 days. Just imagine how much issue Mate X will have in just 1 day. That thing have it soft plastic screen exposed on the external part. And the Xiaomi foldable version it have 2 hinges. That going to break down way faster.

It has to be lot thinner for a foldable phone to be relevant and successful. People don't want another Nokia Communicator...It has to very slim with thin hinge mechanism but very robust and strong, long lasting.... definitely, assembling such tricky part will be a challenge. Hope they figure it out soon. This form factor with a bulgy one will not be liked by many

It's still Generation 1. I don't see foldables really maturing until 2022. By then, Apple got into it and will stop selling their iPads.

I realized I have no use for foldables. Never needed a tablet. Won't have the device unfolded most of the time. I just want a compact phone to hold again one-handed.

Hmm a bit conflicting for me. Lots of reviews on the net pointed out that the screen is very fragile. Lots of early units broken and had to be replaced do to failed screen. Read it on the Verge that even with careful usage, lots of small dents and scratches appeared on the screen's plastic cover. For a $2000 device, that is unacceptable. :/

As usual, another case of Samsung doing something because... they can. No point in this phone. It Is a poor smartphone (external display ridiculous, thick and heavy) and a poor tablet (small, with the hinge in the way) , very prone to fail due to a plastic screen.
