Nokia:... morewell i for one never meant to displace nokia in durability aspect. was merely stating a fact that finally huawei made a phone as durable as it can get. and im not a huawei fan, not yet anyway.

Torturing is not a problem, it's a just negligent way of using. But accident the worst scenario that you could imagine like dropping the phone front face. I accidentally drop 2 feet my galaxy S10+ the gorilla glass cracks into two lines, the protection back cover and front glass protection didn't help.

rizki1, 21 Apr 2019they won't use Gorilla Glass, because they can raise prices... morethe lawyer/accountant in me would like to disagree. i will only label a device as "overpriced" when the actual information on the actual manufacturing costs, (variable and fixed costs to name a few) is revealed, (not just a tidbit of info). it is however suffice and fair to label this device as "expensive", but overpriced? no, since we cannot reliably determine the costs from huawei's or any oem's pov.
so yes this device is expensive, very expensive. but "overpriced"? clearly there is a distinction between these terms that we must recognize first before outright labeling it with.

The width is a matter. Narrower can have better grip but wider can have more risk on Phone slipping out of hand. Especially the wider width with extra thickness both of it.

Huawei's quality standards have been improving at a fast & steady pace. Their latest flagships are totally on par with Apple/Samsung flagships in terms of build quality & choice of materials. Good work indeed!

Anonymous, 20 Apr 2019That's good if I drop it.. it won't shatter like my last Hu... moreGlass is glass, why are you saying it won't shatter? The only difference between the durability test of the P20 Pro and P30 Pro, is that it didn't bend.
