Finally 512gb ram but very poor storage

Kiyasuriin, 22 Apr 2019actually: 48+16+8+2=74... the 100 MP twist comes from some... moreWith selfie 32mp, total is 106mp, yet it is just a gimmick IMO, as it is not a single sensor with over 100mp.

Stan, 22 Apr 2019I think it's much simpler than that. After all, most of it ... moreNah, there's only one selfie shooter. It could be 26 MP though

Look at their Antutu score highest amongst those snapdragon 855 phone's

Walter C. Dornez, 22 Apr 2019I actually did the math. If they, well, de-pixel binned and... moreI think it's much simpler than that. After all, most of it is just marketing talk.
There's probably going to be 2x 13mp up front, that that's what makes up for that 100mp total pixel count.

                  Kiyasuriin, 22 Apr 2019actually: 48+16+8+2=74... the 100 MP twist comes from some... moreI can help you buddy.. 48 + 2×(16 + 8 + 2) = 100. And don't ask me about the x factor.. cough.. 2x factor..!!

The last Oracle, 22 Apr 2019The Night Mode firmware on the S10 series is only engaging ... moreI represent innovations, so far Huawei is taking the fight the hard way and pushing these older big names to step up, that's my point

Kiyasuriin, 22 Apr 2019actually: 48+16+8+2=74... the 100 MP twist comes from some... moreI actually did the math. If they, well, de-pixel binned and made the 16 MP sensor upscale to 32, 8 MP to 16, and 2 MP to 4, 48 + 32 is 80 + 16 is 96 + 4 is 100

Whackcar, 22 Apr 2019Lenovo's forte last year was their aggressive pricing schem... moreAnd till your birthday

Pixel87, 22 Apr 2019Like I practically feel pity for most of these new phones, ... moreThe Night Mode firmware on the S10 series is only engaging the aperture at f1.5 (instead of at f2.4). The Night Mode Firmware has not even been released yet. Don't go by the name, it's a misnomer.

Having said that, shame on smartphone makers for Not moving beyond the exact same 12MP sensors, and similar pixel sizes. Why doesn't someone make a 12MP 1/1.8" or larger (1/1.5) sensors, what happened to the Mythical IMX607 sensor, and why arent smartphones resolving more detail and moving to 14-bit RAW images. Also shame on them on not exploring options Beyond the Regular (yawn) Bayer Pattern CFA.

Also much faster sensor readout (atleast FULL Res at 120fps) for even better HDR.

The periscope zoom is fake. It doesn't actually have any zoo. It has a fixed focal length. Plus it causes light loss with the f3.5 aperture. The P30 Pro has probably more like usable ISO of 12800 or so. The rest is Computational Photography.

Smartphones Can do better. MUCH better.

The 10-bit video S10 is good first step. But it needs better HDR for video, and it should combine atleast 3 frames with varying exposures, and reach 12stops of dynamic range with the final image, with slightly higher bitrate.

Pixel87, 22 Apr 2019Like I practically feel pity for most of these new phones, ... moreNo you don't

First you do the research and find what features matter to you,
You appear to have selected the phone with the best features that matter.
Having been using this site to make my selections you are some people dismiss a phone for the lack of a feature, e.g USB OTG the idea that with 64Gb on board somehow you needed file not sent via email only located on the memory stick

Apple use the yearly upgrade, that means your 1 year old iPhone is antiquated

The above is your choice I simply cannot remember all the flagship spec I do expect that over 50% use price rather than specs when finally deciding phone purchase

Happy I bought the phones I did, and to add to that, I have always found 2 killer third party apps in the app store.

Google needs to match the innovative desires of the phone makers rather than copying IOS is creating features that lack real function

                                  Does it have wireless charging?

xeroga, 22 Apr 2019The so called 100 million pixel camera is indeed the sum of... moreLenovo's forte last year was their aggressive pricing scheme. If it continues this year, then this phone could very will be a game-changer in terms of being the best value phone.

Just one day left to find out the pricing of this beast.

Like I practically feel pity for most of these new phones, for the past 3 weeks I have been looking out for a flagship device can match the Huawei P30 Pro camera feature, none so far not even the new NIGHT mode update on the Galaxy S10 which actually falls below expectations when you compare side by side with Huawei P30 Pro Night mode. Huawei somehow has managed to make me disregard other devices ever since P30 PRO launched. We need a competition, somebody give us a device to match Huawei P30 Pro

Specs are top of the line, design is also good, but the "hyper" stuff seems entirely gimmickry... but let's wait for samples before coming to any conclusions just yet.
