OnePlus 7 Pro camera details leak: 3x zoom and ultra-wide camera

22 April 2019
The vanilla OnePlus 7 will have a dual camera instead, however it will get the same 90Hz screen as the Pro (according to unconfirmed reports).

I hope the regular OnePlus 7 have a ultra-wide secondary camera instead of boring telephoto.

"but it should be around 80mm (thatÂ’s about as high as non-periscope lenses go)."
That's not true. With digital zoom every smartphone camera can even offer 100 mm equivalent. So of course a 100 mm equivalent smartphone camera without periscope technique is possible (but the image quality might be like digital zoom).

But it wld be limited to a dual set up instead of 3 camera set up. FP will obviously be in display considering it was the case with 6T.

Just is used to blur background.
No need to even have electronic stabilization.

Mi9 also uses imx586 without Optical Stabilization.

Anonymous, 22 Apr 2019If Vanilla OnePlus will have 90 Hz at 550$, it's the best value everAnother limitation of oled.
LCD for mobile already reached 140Hz.

The last leak i read is that the basic model will have even worse cameras than the 6T as it has a 5Mp depth camera (not stabilized) with a 48Mp f1.7 main camera WITHOUT OIS (not stabilized), so i already can imagine its photos at night.... for its price LOL. Same battery size as 6T 3700mAh 20W. No word about where is the fingerprint sensor and the display is a regular one with 6.4" 2340x1080p resolution. So basically it's the One Plus 7 is a 6T with new SoC, pop-up selfie and worse rear cameras probably an "higher price" with the excuse of the new pop-up selfie, the SD855 even with worse cameras although higher resolution that should be binded at afternoon-night. So you down from 16Mp las year to 12Mp bind from 48Mp at those photos.

The Pro and Pro 5G are the only ones with 3210x1440, 19.5:9 90Hz display, USF 3.0 and 48Mp f1.6 OIS+EIS main camera, a wide angle 16Mp 117º (not stabilized), 8Mp 3x Zoom f2.4 (not stabilized) and a 16Mp f2.0 selfie camera (not stabilized). 4000 mAh 30W, In display fingerprint sensor and Blue,Grey,Brown colours. Their price will skyrocket obscenely.

Hope to see at least one model under $600

Anonymous, 22 Apr 2019If Vanilla OnePlus will have 90 Hz at 550$, it's the best value everPete Lau spoke with The Verge and they claim that only the Pro will get a 90Hz screen, though Lau's statements seem rather vague. I'm sure there won't be a shortage of leaks so we'll find out soon either way.

Anonymous, 22 Apr 2019If Vanilla OnePlus will have 90 Hz at 550$, it's the best value everI can tell you now:

NO CHANCE

If the Pro costs 800 and if there will be a lot of people buying it, once thing's clear, the following oneplus releases will get pricier and pricier.

One Plus has been consistently increasing it prices, to flagship levels (S10e and beyond). I would rather buy the real thing.

I wish they would prove atleast one model in the $500 price range.

Yep, but it smells something like from $749 for the base one to $1099 for the Pro with more memory. And the 5G...

Display on 6 and 6T is terrible under bright light conditions. Even on max brightness, you can barely see what's on the phone. But I guess that's what you get for that amount of money. Hope on OP7 its at least something better with display and camera.

there's a ToF sensor painted in black between the 2nd and the 3rd lens

Finally OnePlus upped their camera game. It is looking good on paper. We'll have to wait for samples to come out in order to come to a conclusion regarding it's quality.

The 3x optical zoom is technically already better than what you get in most flagships.
