Other extras include a 3.5mm headphone jack (if you can count it as an extra) and IR blaster.

No, I count it as an essential.

Also why are these splash resistant but the Note 7 and Note 7 Pro weren't? Makes no sense

      I don't care if they copy Samsung and LG for putting it on the bottom of the phone, if it means I get the convenience from it.

                Inferior processor, micro USB instead of type C, plastic back instead of gorilla glass 5, lower pixel density, camera hardware is similar to the Indian version of note 7 but post processing is inferior (not even comparable to the global version).

                636 instead of 632 at about ₹1k lesser would make it differentiable from Redmi 7 making it a nice alternative to Realme 3 as well as remove the direct competition from Redmi Note 7

                  Xiaomi f*cked up by making the Redmi 7 as huge as the Note version... They keep releasing these pathetic phablets which nobody in Europe wants anymore - we want compact devices instead... Unfortunately, Europe market isn't interesting enough for Xiaomi, so we're stuck with overpriced brands if we want to use our phones with one hand.

                    Xiaomi is competing with itself again.

                    Y3 is the same price, same battery, same looks, same display size, etc as Redmi Note 7.

                    Only difference is color, camera and processor.
