      The answer to your pains is called NOVA LAUNCHER. I love the phone but could not survive the EMUI wrapper... So, download NOVA, be free of nonsense.

        My friend's P20 Lite lags even with 4GB ram. Many Huawei/Honor phones have x0.5 animation scale to hide their sluggish performance. But it lags like hell. And if you change animation scale to x1 it lags like never before. I'm not hater. My suggestion is please improve performance and give us decent updates as fast as you can.

            How do you roll back?
            Apps no longer work, the colours are too bright, i like dark mode!
            The childlike app icons are just that, where has the sophisticated adult phone gone?

              redhotneo, 27 Apr 2019EMUI.. is awesome .. abit crowded but it butter smooth.. so... moreI had a smooth experience on my Samsung devices (On flagships) even with TouchWiz, all the way up to OneUI, my favorite is Samsung Experience UX 9.1. It looks good and has a ton of customization. You just have to disable the "Bloatware" that comes built in in most phones. Meanwhile EMUI is just an iPhone copy, the themes there are just icons and backgrounds. No colors on the UI and the animations are clunky.

                          Love mine. Friends and family all switch to Huawei too. Subway is full of the Huawei chimes like it used to be in early 2000s with Nokia.

                            Nick Tagataka, 26 Apr 2019As a P30 user, I cannot concur.i really dnt know what ppl have against emui. have tried those with stock and i dont feel i like it. even have one ui on my samsung and i gotta admit its really good but that doesnt mean i hate my first huawei with emui. so far im loving it, and didnt install 3rd party launchers.

                            stock android is good but it doesnt deserved to be overhyped. emui for me is not bad and it doesnt deserve the hate.

                                      all this so called great software but can't keep their p20 pro handsets security up to date(6 months out of date) in the uk. when contacted fobbed off with lies and their complaints is send email to eco who doesn't reply. if you want secure handset don't buy Huawei
