[deleted post]I don't get why everyone is saying samsung is copying apple. How the hell is a touchscreen phone suppose to look like? Would you prefer an ugly box square phone like the n9? I mean apple didn't create the rounded edges look. So I don't get why they would have the right to sue a company for making a rounded edge phone with a home button.. Plain stupid.

yea right as if nokia never hangs up..i was,a die hard nokia fan...u r right that it compared to android nokia needs less hardware support...but so does windows 98 and xp...but of all windows officially out for purchase now windows 7 is considered tge best...the best OS will allways drain on hardware..that is kinda what makes them the best..u know use more resource and look better...
and as far as the ICS version of galaxy from the pics and vids I found here..it seems that touchwiz did take away the kewl ICS intros...they could ve done better..but anyways looking at the bright side..coming from a company that is not a great update provider (i think back during the symbian s60v5 days and ios,are the best at rolling out.the updates,ota)...well that list of companies in android section inc most of them, except for google nexus based ones...

James, 17 Jan 2012I dont think that's the same phone as the one in the video.... more..like the way you say the successor to the Galaxy Note will have a 5'' screen (to make it less tablet like?!) like it's a given fact, when truth is, there IS no successor to the Note yet. It's niche product, that just happens to have sold very well considering how big everyone keeps saying it is (for what it's worth, I've had one since launch and in use it definitely doesn't seem too big, only when you put it next to another phone does it seem like a monster!).
Back to the article - it's so obviously a mock-up. In fact, the ultra think bezel and general styling.. looks a bit like all the mock-ups of what the iPhone 5 was supposed to look like before it's overhyped launch. That turned out to be the underwhelming iPhone 4S.. could this be Samsung having a last laugh?

Luke, 17 Jan 2012I hope it's not it, cause of that button. ICS (if present a... morewho are you to criticize the button? I like it and many people do like it. Samsung is known to modify software on their devices to I think they can do without the bottom part of ICS (where the buttons are implemented into the OS).

Judging by the average hand size to phone size ratio the actual body doesn't look bigger than SG2 at all. It looks more like they used more of the dead space in front for the bigger screen. I think evolution of touchscreens should be going towards the whole front of the phone being nothing but a screen, no dead space. Specially with Android ISC which does not need hardware buttons. If this is new Samsung phone then they are surely taking advantage of ICS technology. Other than that it would not make sense making the SG3 body bigger as Samsung already has Note model in their line up.

I was told by a reliable source that the talked about SG3 will come with the latest technology on language translator for voice calls. (the platform will be setup on English to Italian, English to Spanish and English to French only (vice versa)). for instance If youre speak to an italian person you can activate the app, then make the call and as you speak it detect your speech and translate them to Italian but on a computerised voice. Haters hit me!

Does anyone know any information about the Galaxy S III like when it could possibly be released? I have the Nexus now but my contract is only for a year because I bought my phone overseas so if it comes out later this year that would be cool. Still, I'm waiting to see when they're going to announce the next generation quad-core phones.
Also, transparent phones could become a reality especially since Samsung made the Smart Window =)

With its product category, it passes every standards known to manufacturing, else it will not be released. And who said iPhones didn't get a good reviews? You're totally in denial, look every legitimate review sites, and see whether iphones didn't get good reviews.
