This is useless. Dark mode only affects the UI of the browser, website is still the same.

I think it's more likely that many users strongly prefer to stick with the Chrome browser, and even if they're aware that a dark mode is available in another browser (I knew about it in Samsung Browser, for instance), they're excited finally to have it without changing from Chrome. No one is suggesting Google invented darkness.

7UIS, 27 Apr 2019Some glitches occurs with the new dark mode enabled,. Agreed. I'm on a Pixel and enabling the dark mode has made my 'android buttons' invisible. The bottom bar with back button and app tasker is given black background by the dark mode but the buttons themselves aren't inverted to white thus becoming invisible.

After enabling dark mode. the text also gets black when you all tabs menu. does anyone knows how to change into white color txt

Here's what you need to do to get full dark mode in Chrome Android Latest Update. The article only mentions how to enable dark mode in the UI and not in web contents.
Follow these steps:
Paste this link chrome://flags
Search "Dark" in the Search Bar
Enable Chrome UI Dark Mode
Also Enable Android Web Contents Dark Mode
Relaunch
After Relaunch Close Chrome
Now Open Chrome & Go To Settings > Dark Mode On
Done.

Hmmm it's not that OLED friendly yet.
