Of course India is getting all the latest updates/security patches. It's because Samsung are trying to create a high profile presence in India. Meanwhile, the rest of the world,even with the latest contract free flagship phones, have to wait for upgrades.

to make the update reached your device
'cause the firmware is really depended on
each countries, so give it a time.
However, you can go to software update section
and manually make it check the update
all over again as many times as you want.
