Anonymous, 01 May 2019the regular 7 non-Pro 6-128 is going to cost 550+, maybe 60... moreno one wants the non-pro version. the 6t i have is the mclaren edition and its great. the issue is that i want the best specs from a oneplus for 550-650 bucks max. if the non-pro version costs more than that and it will, it would be for 650-750 bucks, the territory of the s10e or the xr. i have traditionally bought all oneplus devices because of the price but pushing that price bracket higher will mean that they will lose me as a customer because i also consider other brands and ive used their phones. as ive said, those devices were the better devices in my use case. at that point, it becomes a no-brainer for me to go for either one of those devices because my use case trumps specs. im not bringing the s10e up because i want to compare screen and battery sizes. i just want you to know that i would pick either of these devices anyday over a oneplus, even the 7 pro, if its price is similar or closely similar. use case over specs for me.

and why the heck do people keep bringing up S10e ? S10e HAS a 5.8" SCREEN AND 3100 BATTERY
that alone makes it impossible to compare to ANY 6.4"+ phone with 3700-4000 battery .. too different size/screen real estate and battery

Anonymous, 30 Apr 2019If a OnePlus device is not worth USD 700, then WHICH ONE is?none..for me, oneplus should have stayed in their territory of affordable flagship grade phones at around 550 bucks. for someone like me, i bought a oneplus 6t because it is cheaper than most flagships but with same or not better specs. going for around 700 bucks makes it more difficult for me because i can go for something like a galaxy s10e or an iphone xr which have both been the better devices over the 6t in my experience(i dont own the s10e and xr, i was only allowed by my sibling to use them for a month). i own an iphone 6 which im using right now and it has been the more reliable phone than the 6t. a oneplus 7 or 7 pro at less than 600 bucks would be a no brainer for me but 700 is pushing their luck too much, i would go for the s10e because its the no brainer device for me over the 7 pro at around 700-750 bucks.

OnePlus clearly failed in camera department this time too like all other previous models, few days still left but "morning shows the day" and it's very much valid in camera department of OnePlus. Only some die hard Oneplus bubbled fans with the help of biased mods will defend the camera this time too in Oneplus 'Community" forum like as if having a Nikon DSLR in their hands.., not the rest of the world though:)

Not sure how commenters can realistically judge the image quality from way downsized web shots.
Really, withhold judgement till full resolution shots are available.

I have seen OnePlus Camera quality for the previous models and I can say that the samples updated are not from a OnePlus phone at all and if yes I would rather think of getting a another phone rather than getting this type of camera quality In OnePlus...!!! Really Disappointed with the samples

Night mode must be same of 6T, just shutter slower than 1s while iso still high.

acemang, 30 Apr 2019I'm the only one not impressed with this pictures?The images don't seem impressive in dynamic range, and detail. But they are very low resolution (727x544). Maybe once the resolution of shared pics is higher, we may have a better idea.

Anonymous, 30 Apr 2019Why photos is so blurry like with 300 eur xiaomi phone?Current One plus engineers responsible for camera algorithm don't know anything about image quality or develop a good algorithm we one plus 6 are suffering for same.
Front selfie camera taking very soft images making us look like was dolls and rear camera takes dull photos they lacks contrast,sharpness and doesn't look vibrant.

Wow, just wow. is this the pro phone with a price matching the S10!! the photos looks so boring like it was taken with a symbian phone. Ok I'm exaggerating, but seriously these photos looks so out of detail to the point that I don't know where is the focus on some plus noise level is so high (hope this can be fixed with software) but if this is the Pro with such high price then I feel sorry for OP. they need to compete and be better (at least in something) when they ask for such high price the photos loose badly to Mi 9.
you can't ask for such a price and say we can't beat the flagships but it is subjective. WTF.
and the OP7 is just a OP6T with a new SOC and hopefully a secondary camera that could be used. seems like nothing more.
