what really surprise me reading this news is that nokia still produces the n8 and c7. i thought they are extinct already.

is there any symbian ANNA update for nokia 5230, i know belle is not for s60 5th devices.
also m a proud android user now, but still having my old 5230 & want ANNA for it........

as a n8 user, all i can say
one of the best phones will become even better
keeping up with the cpu race is a endless race. thats not for me. i have all i need right now

Cod3rror, 18 Jan 2012Those of you that say Symbian has a real multitasking, I ha... morey wud i wanna do that, videos are meant to be watched, even when am multi tasking games get paused cause they use the vid graphics, music will play in background only which is reasonable cause thats audio and am able to move thru open apps thru a press on the task bar. I guess Apple must be dumb to make it posible for videos to run on the background, it will mean you have to go back to where you left instead of a simple pause and continue

Using the Belle on N8 for the last 50 days and one thing I can tell you......its AWESOME....
Android is eye candy most of the time, but N8 with Symbian gets important things done without much fuss and with more "useful" features than most of the "hi-end" Android phones of today......
And mostly I dont need to think about Voice Quality, radio reception, stability, Battery life, build quality, usability all the time.....

lol why would anyone play video in background..even nokia knows dat is pointless.if it had any practical use im sure all device in this world would enable it.replaying and fast forwarding still makes sense in this world.
on topic, this news is bogus..update will come february as planned.

saxon, 18 Jan 2012Am i going to get belle for my nokia 5230?No. There won't be belle for any S60v5 device because of crappy hardware. You can use N97 or C6 firmware port with some hacks making it a little closer to Belle (especially belle navibar).
