A good phone, battery life is short, and as usual not a very loud ring tone, I am waiting for the Samsung 4G's, and then I will swap back to the Sam's

Telstra restricts bandwidth across their entire spectrum range. The sgs2 fails to even come close to it's capability on their nextg network. LTE will be a joke as well. Telstra sprukes big speeds and the customers find out the hard way that it's a lie. You can expect around 25% of the speeds they advertise....

Come on gsmarena, you're supposed to be the source of the correct information.

Telstra's 3G HSPA+ is 42 megabit capable. (Yes, we still call that 3G here)
Telstra's LTE is up to 100 megabit

This phone's 3G HSPA+ is 42 megabit capable, and it's also 100 megabit LTE capable.

That is correct, Telstra's LTE is up to and can actually surpass 100Megabit. The 40Megabit you quote in the article is the Telstra NextG speed (850MHz 3G network) which all current Telstra handsets are compatible with. The NextG network can also slightly surpass that speed, approx. 42Megabit.

Having speedtested a Telstra 4G wireless broadband dongle in the Brisbane CBD (where coverage is strongest) I have personally seen the device reach downlink speeds of 66MB/s and uplink of 33MB/s.

I actually have one in front of me.
                            Its a good phone but is a bit heavy 168grams where a galaxy s 2 weight 118grams

But the speed is the best 12mbs through a sim card download speed
