There is a S8 and 3T which I know in my circle and those are 2 or 3 years old those displays are as good as new.
A good IPS panel is nice display but the way I see it, OLED is better.
I owns LG G6 though which has a pretty good IPS panel.

Mine was great, Accurate colors which you can still adjust if you want to, no screen bleeding no problem at all, my only problem as of now is the screen ghost touches which is a software problem since it occurs rarely and disappears when I put it off (lockscreen) and turning it back on :)

OLED is best in power consumption, but OLED and LED have their equal goods apart from that.

But the most annoying for me is the shape, with the wide notch without permanent notification in the status bar and big chin, but this is a display/bezels problem.

Very old news indeed. Here in PH, 6/128GB Pocophone F1 is cheaper than the 6/128GB of Redmi Note 7 Pro (China version).

I have LG G6 and it has one of best IPS panel I think it has the deepest black an IPS can offer still I love Oled simply because it's absolute zero black. Might be it is your personal preference but an Oled are better than IPS. Most of us like oled.

Why are you people crying about display quality on this phone. It's a good display. It's less saturated compared to others in this price range. Some people find it disappointing. But, it's actually more neutral and life like. Unlike those hideous OLED displays.

Screen is actutually very good, colors are accurate and vibrant. My previous Huawei P20 had bad LCD, this one is very good. Weak point of F1 is only software, but i think Xiaomi must fix MIUI completely, they know if they do that, Xiaomi will be top.

I hope they bring the F2 asap, and with a good LCD screen, like the one in Honor V20. The display quality (and shape that even prevents notifications) is the weakest point of the F1.
