Amrit, 19 Jan 2012I am already on 8107. Still has loads of bugs. Call not end... moreHello,

If you are using a Normal size SIM that has been cut down to Micro SIM then the call drop issue is expected. It has been noticed in many similar cases.
Best solution as per my experiance is get a new micro SIM from your service provider and swap it with the cut SIM.

I am hoping to see some improvements in the performance of this device and more with these updates that are being pushed.

        I love LUMIA 800 though.. :)

Yeah the battery is a software glitch, the use of WP7 is that software glitch, WP7 is a power hungry, over simplified iOS wabbabe OS with development comparable to android 3 years ago, how on earth Elopo thought it woulod be smart to support such an unpolished OS in favour of a near perfect Meego, baffles me, wait no it doesn't, it was for the money.
This is how I see Elop thinking... "hey I refuse to have Nokia put in the hard work and bear the fruits of meego, Microsoft payout here we come", let's pretend Meego wasn't basically complete at that stage, like Elop does.

Anyone else noticed the back, home & search capacitive/touch sensitive keys at the bottom of their 800 are no longer backlit? Battery saving or not, that's really gonna bug me!

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2012someone has no clue what they are talking aboutSymbian is still the best when it comes to power management while Android is dead last. That OS is so power hungry, it lags even on dual-cores. It lags even more if you have apps running in the background but as always, its fans will deny that issue. And don't forget the viruses and malwares on Android. The apps on the Android Market cannot be trusted. Anyone can upload a booby trapped app in there and victimize people.

This update shows Nokia's commitment to their products. If this problem happened to an Android manufacturer, you'll be lucky to even get a response from them. They will deny it and try to hide the problem.
