but they can still use lights etc..I think it's fair as long as they used the same setup as the DSLR.

Not great. I'm a camera man. I'm surprised they let this on their magazine. I am surprised they couldn't do better, but you can see in the second photo of here, it's a bit funky. You could probably do a better photo on the latest iPhone with cine software to control the image.

Exactly. There's so much advertising popping up that the phone could've easily been 100$ cheaper if they just went honest price/performance like with previous models... Defend this, OnePlus fanboys.

bells and whistles make noise . and OnePlus is doing this a lot. oneplus this kind of picture can be taken with my four years old p10 plus . this pictures are not for 2019. they would be the best in market if they were sold around 2013 or 14. And we don't buy a phone for butter smooth only . no ip68 yet on your phone ,no IR blaster on your phone,no 4k disply yet ,no wireless charging yet. more than a mobile company you are oxygen os company you are smooth only . nothing else . and remember other smartphone make noise becase they do something innovative.but OnePlus modify other smart phones and make noise . i never saw a innovation in this phone .

It's very obvious that OnePlus' is spending heavily on advertisements now. Expect to see a high score on Dxomark too...
Let's wait and see if the phone actually lives upto the hype.
