If they put right price (same as it was with F1 about 300$), i guess this will be first choice, over Pocophone F1. Yes, still good phone but this one at least, seems better on spec.

But I heard that enabling DC dimming can cause manufacturing defects in the AMOLED to become noticable and I also read it can reduce the lifetime of the display.

I hate inaccurate colours. And I'd say IPS is better 'quality' too since all AMOLED smartphone displays use a pentile pixel arrangement.

                  Take that Galaxy A80!! Redmi X has the same pop up tech like Galaxy A80 yet it is going to have a 3.5mm jack & microsd as STANDARD!! All at an affordable price!!

                      Google should be glad that these devices don't have a worldwide launch. In fact Samsung and LG must be happy they kept the 3.5mm jack. Good batteries, decent screen, great camera, useable UI, is really all we want. Oh, plus the table stakes, ie wireless charging, 3.5mm jack.

                        Finally a redmi with NFC. Better late than never. Good too see it will have a 3.5mm jack if it also has micro SD support, an IR blaster, and a big battery (4,000 or more) and is priced under 400 USD it will be my next phone

                          Maybe the two rumored phones, the SD 855 and SD 730 are released at the same time, the SD 730 is the normal version and the SD 855 is the Pro version
                          Because your information has mixed a lot and it has become very confusing

This feature was added to the Mi 9 in a software update and according to users, this really improved the display and reduced the stress significantly.

                                I hope this gets full global bands so I can use this on Verizon but that's probably reserved for their Mix series

I didn't know there were leaks both with and without the rear FP sensor. I guess you're right that the cheaper SD730 device (Redmi branded) will be the phone that does not have the under-display FP reader, whereas the SD855 handset will have it. This furthers my belief that the SD855 with probably use AMOLED and the SD730 with use IPS.

                                      Please be IPS, amoled is just not worth the headache
