Boldy, 08 May 2019This is not new. The razer phone already uses this tech. Th... moreprior to razer, sharp was the first to use 120Hz panels on smartphones way back 2015- that's full 2 years before razer phone 1 existed. although razer was the first to to have 120hz screen refresh rate on a 1440p IGZO LCD. by the way, i have got both the razer phone 1 and 2, and the razer phone 1 had this common issue among users wherein the LCD controller becomes bogged down so that half the screen freezes lengthwise. it's good that it looks like they have fixed it with the razer phone 2. they are good phones for the buttery smooth screen refresh rate and the individually amplified, dolby atmos certified front-firing true stereo speakers.

Mobilemaster, 08 May 2019Do not worry this will work in Europe! :)While there are several Sharp models which are sold in Europe, R2 flagships lack some of the LTE bands used there (most notably 800 and 1500 MHz). Especially 800 MHz allows for easy coverage of larger areas so it's an important one.
A hyperlink was rejected by spam protection so I can only advise to look up these phones at kimovil site. There you can compare supported bands with a specific country's infrastructure.
Therefore, it's quite unlikely anyone would want Aquos R line for its full price when the usability for LTE would be crippled.

Look this isn't a bad design
Like what if they wanted to make a phone with fingerprint thing like in the iPhone 8 and have 2 back button and stuff like old galaxy while having the smallest chin possible...
They could do this but no notch shown° under the display...
But just a black chin that Is just lcd while being 1 same lcd its separated from the rest by software for ever unlike notches... And white logo of the back button and navigation button... It will work
unfortunately this won't happen here
Cuz not of the software aspect but the chin is already huge so yes they won't have a nice slim chin....Worser than the regular mate 10... But if they didn't had this it could be good for some mistake we saw at the Honor view 10/ and 10 that had almost worser screen to body ratio than the cheaper older Honor 7X thats wtf

Once again another excellent phone from, arguably, the world's best and also unknown smartphone maker. Although I'm a little skeptical about the double notch thing, I find no fault in this phone. Japanese makers, once again, proving their superiority.

Ummm SHARP don't release their phones globally only release in Japan so what's the point of showing it off? Apparently only few models can been seen and ordered online in aliexpress (which is obviously made in China)

why two notches?! if you putting that second notch for fingerprint scanner then why not just put it at the back??? what kind of stupidity is this?! i really don't see any reason for them to add fingerprint scanner at front like that... smh

Walter C. Dornez, 08 May 2019Fujitsu? Yes, Fujitsu. They make some though, shock-resistant smart phones, but those are not bulky. Their build quality is very good.
