This seems done on purpose to hide the final one... or who knows if finally those variants will be real. In any case, i don't like them. Only flip covers could work to properly protect these phones.
On the other hand, due to the slider you can't unlock by face ID without grab your phone from the table to watch something or uncomfortably having to force the slide to show the cameras in an unnatural position for it... so i was wishing an underdisplay fingerprint sensor to do that job fast and secure without grab your phone from the table but with these designs that is impossible too as those are at the back. Sadly not for me, so both discarded.
I still have some hope about the final design to give me a surprise, if not i'll search elsewhere my next phone. Watching that the Lenovo Z6 Pro cameras are not as good as i expected recording video, don't seem to have good stabilization... no dual pixel fast autofocus... I'm now a bit lost searching phone with all the features i want including underdisplay fingerprint sensor. Only american S10 and S10+ match what i'm looking for, but import them with taxes too much plus Samsung don't offer warranty for foreign variants here. Perhaps... could one of those upcoming Redmi could do to the job? I doubt they add OIS to them... But now that they are a subrand like Honor... all is possible. Honor 20 Pro? Or wait for the Mate 30 and hope it'll have FM Radio and audio jack like the Mate 20? hahaha I'm going to end hating this year, 1000 phones and the only one with all is not available here. Well, patience, perhaps in few months....

... moreYou know that this ULED is nothing new, right? It's simply an LED backlit LCD screen, with quantum dot layer. Samsung calls it QLED.
And it won't happen on phones, because we have a better option - OLED. The problem with TVs is you don't change it every 2-3 years, so burn-ins might happen on OLED TVs. On phones it's much less of an issue.
For phones the future is mLED, but it will need at least few more years.

Hope they've thought of putting some water resistance (P2i, rubber seals)....price it below latest One plus and this could rock the sales charts & do a world of good to the Asus brand.
