Blu Ray players are the only working DVD players being produced now, as well, so they will disappear too.

    You left out Ireland, the article should say "The UK and Ireland".

        Also, collecting the DVDs is becoming sort of retro so that's something.

                    Remember when Netflix changed its rating system because everyone hated Amy Schumer?

                      Canceled the Netflix when they removed Pulp Fiction... The problem with the streaming services is that you'd really need to have subscription to all of them (like HBO, Hulu, Amazon Prime etc.) to really have access to ALL the movies. Meanwhile it takes few clicks to access sites like fmovies.to which not only have virtually all the movies, but they're also completely free. Even when we had active Netflix subscription, I often found myself watching the same movie on fmovies just because I didn't want to bother logging on Netflix.

                      If all the streaming services agreed to merge to access everything, I think people wouldn't mind paying a bit more than $10. Until then, I feel like the best way to support the movie that you like is just buying the movie's DVD.
