How tiny is your hands? Phones should be way bigger. I used to carry Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact as my main phone. 6.7" phones are just small. Bigger the screen size = better.

Afra, 13 May 2019700+$ for Pro version! I should go to S10+ Plus at the same... moreYou are lucky if you are able to get s10+ for $700 (assuming it is an apples-to-apples comparison).

100M in R&D really? For what? I didn't know Oneplus manufactures their own screens, oh wait no they don't. The screen will probably be bought from the same source as the ones in the ASUS phone.

Maybe they spent their R&D on special chips to drive the screen to utilize its 90Hz refresh rate. Nope, once again they are buying off the shelf Snapdragon chips. So did they really spend 100M on R&D or maybe this is just accounting magic to make certain costs appear like something it is not?

I too choose P30 Pro or S10+ at the same price or even till a $50-$100 more. For full features the S10+. It works really well. Very funny to see people trying to scare about not going smooth. Need to sell the product throwing shit to the competition? How funny.

Aspros, 13 May 2019Well, if you dont need UFS3.0, 90hz smooth UI, great batter... moreIn some places you can get the S10+ and probably the snapdragon version may be worth it but I rather have the 7Pro for the same money. It's 7Pro or P30 Pro for me. If camera can compete with other flagships I would probably go for the 7Pro. The P30 Pro has a redish filter over recorded videos and sometimes it is visible in pictures as well.

Phone Reviewer, 13 May 2019Big phones are good for media consumption and they are good... moreTotally true.
I'm waiting for the day when 50" TVs have sim support.

So that I can put a Freaking TV on my face to make a phone call.
              xD

For now I'm fine with my s9

Anonymous, 13 May 2019You are right. At least 50% of my friends don't want to swi... moreThat's the area Samsung missed the trick and started using non flagship specs on there normal S line, last surviving is the S8. Now got to have the Plus version for dual cameras etc.
Luckily Google's Pixel range has come to the rescue.

the company invested nearly CNY 100 million ($14.5 million) in R&D for the phone’s display, which is believed to cost 2-3 times more than other competing flagships 😂😂😂😂
Pretty sure Apple and Samsung would spend twice that to replace the headphones jack. $14 million to develop display shows how little r&d they know about.

Aspros, 13 May 2019Well, if you dont need UFS3.0, 90hz smooth UI, great batter... moreOnePlus is not a premium phone no matter how hard it tries. I've used a OnePlus one, OnePlus 3 a d have a OnePlus 6. Will never buy another. Back to Samsung for work phone and Apple for personal for me.

Afra, 13 May 2019700+$ for Pro version! I should go to S10+ Plus at the same... moreWell, if you dont need UFS3.0, 90hz smooth UI, great battery performance (due to not having various drain machines, like samsung health, smarthings, etc) and you can live with lag, mandatory bloatware, bixby button, that double selfie cam cutout that ruins 15-20% of the screen when watching YouTube or play games, pay 50% more and get that S10+...

$14.5 millions in R&D and still has a chin good job 1+

Anonymous, 13 May 2019Yes I know that but then again, call the big screen devices... moreYou are right. At least 50% of my friends don't want to switch their !broken! phones because of size issues. None of them want bigger than 5,0" screens while companies offer 6,0"+ It's not like oneplus or anyone else is not selling phones because of this, but - they missing out on ALOT of money. People even think about switching to apple when they release the new 4,7" not because they like apple, just because of size...that's sad.

Flagship phones should have a screen size 5.5"-6.0", not bigger! Mos of today's smartphones are btw. 6.3" - 6.7" and that's crazy....

Modest Mind, 13 May 20196.7". This is no phone anymore, its a tablet!. Why the ... ... moreit's 76 mm wide which is narrower than the 6.5" iphone xs max which is 77.4 mm . The pocophone f1 is 75.3 mm wide and it's screen only 6.2". This is because new phones will come with wideview aspect ratio display. Their screen in reality are not much bigger but they cover almost the whole front. The Samsung Galaxy j7 is 5.5" and 76 mm wide but 16.9 aspect ratio.

Wow $14.5 million in searching and reselling displays manufactured by a third company. LoL. It must be the fictitious money they pay/save for cloning the Oppo and Vivo phones...

Modest Mind, 13 May 20196.7". This is no phone anymore, its a tablet!. Why the ... ... moreBig phones are good for media consumption and they are good to use overall, like who likes playing games on a phone with a 4 inch screen? Companies want people to be able to have lots of screen real estate. That's what many consumers asked for a few years ago and many of them seem to take it back.

I really hope that this time Oneplus 7 (regular and pro) will have a better radiation (SAR) because the last 3 generations of oneplus had a terrible SAR values (at aroung 1.7 W/kg). With that value its like carrying a nuclear core in your pocket.
