14 May 2019
Now that the phone is official, OnePlus is getting even more outlandish with its publicity stunts.

Meant for one-handed use = smartphone
Meant for two-handed use = phablet

Yes it's that simple. Is 1P7P meant for one hand with its 76 mm width? Obviously not.

Anonymous, 15 May 2019Is oneplus 7 pro are phablet? So what happened to the new p... moreNope, it's a smartphone. Phablets still exist though. Huawei Mate 20X, Honor 8X Max, Honor Y Max and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 are examples.

There's about 1cm separating the width of these tablets and this Oneplus 7 Pro smartphone.

My old Xiaomi Mi Max is a phablet with it's 6.4" screen, my newer Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is a smartphone of whose screen is 6.39". The difference in screen size is huge, despite the number being similar.

You do realize that it sits right behind the P30 Pro and Galaxy S10+ right? You might consider researching before making your statement seeing as DxoMark has it rated as beating most other flagship cameras.

Is oneplus 7 pro are phablet? So what happened to the new phablets now? That's why now phablets category are discontinued. Even 6.5, 6.7 inch are not considered a phablet. 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 or even 6.4 inches are now smaller than the iPhone plus.

I found a easy solution for the "problem" = dont read the article and or, go to next one etc. etc.

Yesterday when i saw all those articles i really was wondering what the hack going on... But then again, i just dont read the bullshi..!

But if i have been a fan of this brand i guess i would be glad for all those articles, but still wondering why GSMA dont take all this info and gather it in one or two articles instead of this madness.

[deleted post]Agree, seems like they are paid hefty ammount for a phone that doesn’t have flagship camera, IP rating , wireless charging only a flagship price for gimmeck like pop camera and curve screen

[deleted post]Unfortunately, it seems OnePlus is very aggressive with marketing and advertising every time their phones come out. They're the best thing since sliced bread until all the bugs and flaws come out.

                            Impressive video.
Would like to See Samsung A80 how much can lift its sliding mechanism.
Hope it will be more than 5 kilos.

CompactPhones5ever, 15 May 2019Another OnePlus' bullsh*t advertising... Not only that they... moremy thoughts also.

Another OnePlus' bullsh*t advertising... Not only that they didn't even show that the mechanism still works (...), but nobody cares about how much weight it can hold or how many times it can pop-up in laboratory controlled environment.

What people really worry about is how it will perform once dust/small particles/water start to enter in... If my selfie camera dies after 1 trip to the beach then I couldn't care less that I can lift 22kg of cement with it.

So it can hold 22 kg of cement but will die from a drop of water.

isn't this the same mechanism found in an earlier Vivo Nex model, the first phone with a pop up camera..? so what's the noise about..?

                                      A tricky lie

I've seen the second part of the video.

After lifting , the camera never goes in....

And the engineers running around and shouting

                                        stop the recording please.....

                                        one plus rip.....
