For mobile phones, and other such hand-held devices, the SAR limit is 2 W/kg (1.6 W/kg in US) averaged over the 10 g of tissue absorbing the most signal (IEC 62209-1).
Oneplus 6t have 1,55W/kg for head and 1,26 W/kg for body.
Xiaomi mi 9 have 1,38W/kg for head and 1,30 W/kg for body.
Are they safe ? YES !!!

These days you'd be better off with a 1-2 year old flagship, than a new mid-ranger.
OnePlus phones are basically low-range + flag-ship specced phones, that sell for close to flagship prices. Especially once you take in account the almost immediate market price drops after Android phone being ~3 Months into market.

It's okay that there aren't 512gb or 1tb storage. Many flagships don't. It's okay for the headphone jack also, it's dying anyways. Its even okay for somewhat 'stereo' speakers. But no IP rating, and no wireless charging in 2019 flagship? Hell no. Also, battery is probably very bad due to 90 Hz refresh rate display. It's main selling point of this phone, so i'm guessing it's stupid to use it on 60Hz right? And there is a risk of motorised camera? So, too many reasons not to buy this phone in my opinion. Too much compromises for 700 bucks. You can almost find regular S10 for that price now, or will be able pretty soon..

1) No SD card slo... more3) No headphone jack
4) No wireless charging
5) No IP rating
6) No true stereo speakers (buttom speaker is obviously louder)
7) Mediocre camera (DxOMark and DisplayMate are lost their credibilities)
8) High price tag

No one it's talking about radiation. Xiaomi and OnePlus are two companies with most radiations in their phones. For example Samsung galaxy note8 0,17 w/kg on the oher hand OnePlus 6T 1,55 w/kg, that's almost 10x more. The price is good but at what cost?
