Also I heard that aside gaming optimisations, Black Shark 2 international is pretty close to stock, but did not have a chance to play with one of those.

Really, it's just a matter of you preferring UI customization with MIUI or stock and bloatware-free experience with Android One.

I mean, people want water resistance certification so they "can" drop it accidentally in water and pick it up immediately, but ip 68 gives much more than that, but still not enough to make it safe for swimming with it etc. so people might be misled into giving ip68 phones more than they can handle...ip68 certification is pointless and I say this with my 3 years old s7.

AnonD-819322, 16 May 2019No matter how much you pay, in general, buying a Xiaomi pho... moreyou obvously don't know anything about xiaomi smartphones. the pocophone f1, being plastic, survived drop and bend tests way better than glass sandwiched flagships of 2018, and the redmi note 7 had several videos surviving various hardware torture tests. both phones had plastic frames, and if both bested alimunum framed flagships in these tests then i am not usre what your idea of structural integrity is.

I even use my phone in the rain and nothing have happened to any of my phones.
Water proofing point for me is to take the phone with me when i go take a shower or go to swim with it. Other point i just cant see of it

And while there are some people who don't need ingress protection most people tend to leave their rooms and go outside.

If you look all the images... There is a hole for the upper audio jack but no sign of pop-up camera hole, as i suspected. There are not only two phones, probably three... the one with pop-up camera, the other that their CEO had in his hands with tear drop notch and if this case is not a fake.... a third one with slider front. Look that the bottom of the case... is almost open to let the frontal to slide through the bottom of the case... ; ) In the Mi Mix 3 style.

"Flagship killer" without water protection. So if it's a flagship it means it will kill itself which is pretty accurate in this case. But can you really call something without a basic feature a flagship?
