If you want to produce a worthy video with Osmo Action or a GoPro you'll need a gimbal which is $150-300 extra. Oh and it's pretty heavy and takes up a lot of space.
          Personally I sold my GP6 and Removu S1 and switched to Osmo Pocket, couldn't be happier. It has its own drawbacks but there is absolutely no alternative for it. It is the only compact camera with a gimbal.
          If you are doing extreme sports, an action camera like GoPro or Osmo Action is your obvious choice. If you are doing travel videos or whatever non-extreme you obviously need an Osmo Pocket. If you are doing both you need both, else you'll face a lot of drawbacks.

            The Osmo Action costs the same as the Osmo Pocket. Personally, if I'd start vlogging outdoors I'd take the action camera as it is more versatile and durable, only losing some image and audio quality

                  Its camera gets cropped due to stabilize video making it less wider view than gopro hero 7 black..

Pho... moreany p variants and mate variants fan boy is no match to our dslr. i am a photographer for 20 years now. my shoots are being post on bill boards and also on magazines. i don't even think that mobile phones can replace dslr/s. question: how can you put the lens of dslr to a phone to capture rich images?how?

                      I feel bad for their Osmo pocket. 😅 good job to DJI not being afraid to cannibalize their other product.

                        Ok for the company but still too expensive for what its actually offering.

                        We already have 4K recording cameras from brands like Yi, for far lesser cash like $150. And one or two extra features don't justify more than double the cost.
                        Although with 4K60 @ 100 mbps I'd rather be comparing it with Yi 4K+ model.

                          i don't know which one i guess it was iPhone 7 or 8 but man i really felt sorry for the couple :'D

                            If DSLRs disappeared 2hat.would phone.companies shoot on for their ads? The phone's? They don't do that

                              uhh, DJI is trying harder than ever to destroy GoPro...so far, they're doing an awesome job. I wonder what GoPro will come up in order to compete with them. Sadly, the GoPro Karma wasn't as great as many would've hope it would be.

Can you imagine professional photographers shooting a wedding, a campaign ad or a high end fashion shoot with a mobile? Lol. Phones will never reach the same high quality images found in dslr’s due to its tiny sensor.

                                Also the dji osmo is an action camera. Try strapping your phone onto your body, a bike, skateboard, surfboard, car, helmet etc etc. Thanks

                                  Who needs camera when you have phones like the P30 pro? Photographers do, but for most of us our phones will do. Camera market is dying.
