It will not that much success in India as price is higher than expected. They priced heavily to justify the price of 5G variant. If it’s below 40 k it would have been successful...

The only con that I see with this phone is it's weight of 202 gram. Including case it can easily go up to 250 gram. Then it becomes almost like a tablet. So for heavy users it will be of some inconvenience. Pricing is subjective rest all is fine.

The reason why this edition of OnePlus phone is costlier than the previous versions is because they have decided to stop selling user data to 3rd party via chinese servers.
Now that they have a global presence, they must follow the strict privacy rules of US and Europe too, coz if they get caught sending user data to chinese servers they will be kicked out.
So initially they made money selling user data so their phones were cheap compared to specifications.
Now as they cant make money this way, they have to hike the prices to manage costs of such high specifications:)

The OnePlus 7 Pro and pretty much the latest flagships from evey other major manufacturer are available in India, because even if 0.5 percent of the population buy a particular brands flagship, its still a vastly bigger number than the sales they would accumulate in pretty much every other country with the exception of the U.S and China. In most other countries customers depend heavily on carrier subsidised purchases... Never actually paying the full price... And they're fine ones to point fingers and ridicule.

I think the price is higher than other countries. After initial enthusiasm, oneplus will realise that their price is very high this year. With every year new technologies and better hardware is implemented in newer equipment manufacturing, this doesn't mean you have to increase the price also.
