Dear ONE + , your phones are NOT affordable. The $699 price tag for 128GB storage for 7T or 7Pro needs to be $699(Canadian Dollars).YOU ARE WAY OVER PRICED.

"Why do you base your stats on page views rather than unique visitors?
We measure internet usage trends. To accurately measure usage, we have to base our stats on page views (and not unique visitors)."

tho, i have only lil understanding of that.

What methodology is used to calculate StatCounter Global Stats?

StatCounter is a web analytics service. Our tracking code is installed on more than 2 million sites globally. These sites cover various activities and geographic locations. Every month, we record billions of page views to these sites. For each page view, we analyse the browser/operating system/screen resolution used and we establish if the page view is from a mobile device. We summarize all this data to get our Global Stats information.

if i understand it right, they are basically deducing the device used thru page views? i mean someone with device A can have repeatedly access those site multiple times than someone with device B thats doesnt have internet access, and some other variables. i could understand it wrong, but to me having an uncontrolled sample may not be representative of the entire population. thats why we have these criteria set and sample controls in my research paper to minimize effects from varying factors. but this is tech, so i may not understand what the entirety of their data gathering however that is my impression nonetheless. maybe you can enlighten me tho.

Huawei's attempts since 2015 with the Honor 5X (branded as Huawei Kiwi GR5W) and the whole P10, P20 and P30 lines (including the Lite and Pro indeed) all failed as Huawei only grabbed 3% of the market. Unless you count 1M Active devices out of a market with 32M Active subscribers as a success. OnePlus has exactly 0.95%, roughly 300k active devices. This sounds like a decent number, but it's miles behind LG, Samsung or Apple. Oddly, Xiaomi is doing better than OP despite not selling here officially. They have 1.02% of the market.

Would take the zenfone 6 flagship killer instead of this.

If they will see that one+ is selling very bad, same company will release new model under different name but much lower price.
For this price OnePlus 7 don't have a chance to improve their position in the market.

OnePlus has negligible (less that 1%) market share in Canada anyway so it's not like this price will actually shock anyone
