AnonD-803861, 20 May 2019Man is just too dam far. 9.5mm ? Seriously? Well, the battery is significantly bigger than other similarly-sized phones we've seen so far. Personally, I don't need a big battery so maybe the Galaxy A20e can be a good alternative... if it ever comes to my country

thank you!, 19 May 2019Looks like good compact phone to buy, hope it will have ok ... moreI afraid this processor is bad (octacore 1,4GHz, 28nm?), but dont know before know more. Redmi note 4 have 14nm processor and battery lasts longer with bigger screen than redmi 4. If this new phone have old 28nm processor then this phone is big joke from xiaomi. Not a surprice that people complain if only compact phone is sh*t. Hope that xiaomi made mart choice and will use newer processor, but right now i cannot imagine what octa core 1,4GHz processor will be 14nm, 10nm or something like that.

Looks like good compact phone to buy, hope it will have ok processor too, not expecting top one, just not the oldest one, if enough power saving to give top battery life then ok.

- battery life?

Eager to see battery endurance rating, what will be battery life?
Redmi 3 had 5inch screen with 4100mAh. Redmi 7a will have 5,45inch screen with 3900mAh. Bigger screen and smaller battery, not good, depends processor, can processor save energy enough to keep or improve battery life? Its my main concern. But body size is good, if battery tests will have good results then will buy, other way its not nice from Mi development team. Ofcourse, expect camera to be little better than redmi 3 have, as time has moved on. Hope that Mi team have made a good phone to buy.

(146.30×70.41×9.55)mm, according to the source. If the 3/32 version is priced equally as the 2/16 Redmi 7, I might consider this

Is this going to be Xiaomi's answer to Samsung A40 in terms of weight?
Is it going to be below 140 gram? Or match the old Mi 5 's impressive 129 gram record?
Let's wait and see if Xiaomi still remember how to build light-weight phone.

Adul Al Salami Kebab, 18 May 2019What if its a MT6750? O3OConsidering its A moniker it will be just fine. You should avoid anything using MediaTek before the P60 revolution, as its quite less efficient, even compared to the competition at that time.
