They released RN 7 Pro in India which is actually a much better than this global version. 7 Pro isn't even that much more expensive to begin with(just abt $30 more). If u r in the market for a phone contrary to ur statement, India is the best place to be with all the Chinese and now even Samsung selling phones at much cheaper rates and better specs than in Europe.

[deleted post]Well, they actually are though, on today's standards that is. You can consider anything above size of Nokia 8210 not compact but that doesn't change the fact that that when most manufacturers make their phones above 150 or even 160 mm height, phones around 140mm definitely ARE compact on current standards.
Last time I checked there was no official definition of a compact phone, and it's completely relative term. So keep your insults to yourself, as they don't count as an argument.

For Xiaomi, 660 is the new 625. The last time I saw a 660 phone was in 2018. I guess we're gonna see many new rebranded phones from Xiaomi with the 660.

All you mentioned +metal or plastic back (or wood/rock/dead rats/pudding/whatever, just NOT glass) and it's basically perfect phone. Oh and Android One, but... As long as it's ~5" with thin bezels and solid specs/camera, I'm most likely in.

Redmi Note 3 was my last phone from Xiaomi.. At that time, MIUI didn't have ads like it does now. I'm staying away as long as the ads don't go away.
